The Biosphere is the layer of earth where life exists.
Population Growth: What is population growth?
Population growth is the increase in the number of people or animals within a specific area.
This impacts the biosphere by decreasing the amount of food, water, land, energy, and other resources; it diminishes biodiversity.
We can mitigate this by replanting, spaying or neutering animals, and hunting.
Invasive Species: What are invasive species?
Invasive species are any organism that are not native to the area and can have negative impacts on the environment.
This impacts the biosphere by diminishing biodiversity.
We can mitigate this by using a living organism that eats that plant or animal to deplete its numbers or removing it from its new habitat.
Habitat Loss: What is habitat loss?
Habitat loss is when an environment can no longer provide what its residents need.
This impacts the biosphere by diminishing biodiversity, making animals native to that environment endangered or extinct, and threatening certain plants existence as well.
We can mitigate this by replanting and preserving natural habitats (national parks).
